I live in East London with my partner Jane. We have a dog, a cat, a tortoise and one daughter each. I cycle to work on my Optima Hopper recumbent bike to never-ending merriment of the locals.
My daughter Kasia and I have learned scuba diving via PADI in Lanzarote in 2000. Since then we’ve been diving every summer in pretty exotic locations: Croatia (Mljet) 2001, Egypt (Dahab) 2002, Maldives (Lohifushi) 2003 and Egypt again in 2004.
I also love skiing, and there are pictures to prove it.
I was born in the ancient and beautiful city of Krakow but I left for the UK during the the rather awful communist era. I have spent my first 18 years in London as a session guitarist and a TV/commercials composer. I still occasionally play music with in a duo with Janie and also with John Bennett Band.
Business
I run the Multimedia Production Centre (MPC) at the University of East London. MPCruns a network of multimedia-equipped Apple Macs and provides comprehensive audiovisual facilities for UEL students. I also lecture in digital media and organise technical support across interactive media programmes.
In my other life I am a web consultant/designer, specialising in standards compliant accessible web-sites and development of Apple networks in education. I do that via Soundpartners a company I have been running since 1996.
